How to score rummy? You need to get rid of all your cards before your opponent does. When the game is over, participants add up the points from the cards still in the other players’ hands. To determine who wins, we use the following formula:
Kings, Queens, and Jacks (the face cards) are each worth 10 points.
All aces are worth one point.
The value of all other cards remains the same (for example, a 3 of hearts is worth 3 points).
Summing up your hand’s value after deductions for sets and runs yields your hand’s score. Having three or four cards of the same rank is considered a set (for example, 3 sixes or 4 kings). Three or more consecutive cards of the same suit is called a run (for example, 4, 5, 6 of hearts).

The King is for 10 points, the Queen is worth 3, the Jack is worth 1, and the Queen of Clubs is worth 7 points, for a grand total of 21 points. You would have 18 points if you also had a set of three 3’s, which would be reduced by 3 points.
An extra 20 points are awarded to the first player to discard all of their cards. The typical winning score in a game of this type is 100.
Status of the Game
Rummy is played in a clockwise fashion, beginning with a player who is selected at random. A player’s turn begins with a random draw from either the stock or the discard pile. At the conclusion of your turn, you must discard a card. The next person to act is the one to your left, and so on until the round is won or all the cards are used up.
There are several possible strategies, including drawing and discarding. There is only one rule that must be followed: at the beginning of each round, you must play a meld of at least three cards worth at least 30 points. It makes no difference what order the cards are in.
The round concludes and points are awarded when the last card is discarded to the discard pile. If there is no winner when the stock runs out, everyone loses points. The following round may occur depending on your preferences. This continues until the specified number of rounds has been played.
